What is the job about?
This position reports to the Team Leader Production Assembly and will be work closely with Production Team Lead to provide timely technical and administrative support . You will gain good understanding of Grundfos pump products in different assembly lines
Your main responsibilities
Monitor team members to ensure strict adherence to instruction and safety protocols.
To ensure suspected quality failures of the components, and to rectify on any non-conforming products detected or any non-conforming results during the final test and inspection.
Any deviation of Production BOM (Bill of Material) should be made known to the Engineer for updates or rectification.
To train technicians on different techniques and various work practices in the assembly & testing process.
To work with Team Lead to devise strategies to reduce production costs without compromising the standard of end product.
To work closely with Team Lead in controlling activities within the production according to
planned budgets and cost.
To inform and propose to superior if maintenance / local calibration of factory equipment are required so as to prevent break down and down time or equipment out of calibration.
Initiate improvement processes to enable assembly team to operate efficiently.
To lead and ensure 5S implementation on the lines.
To enforce safety rules to prevent injuries and accident in Production.
To provide backup and assist Production Team Leader on Production matters e.gProductivity , Operation Rate, Manpower Allocation etc
Your background :
We imagine that you have:
Nitec in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
5 years of work line Leader experience in the industry.
Good interaction with all level
Ability to prioritize various tasks
Good Communication Skill
Good leadership skill in directing , controlling , correcting and motivating team.
Have experience in leading small team in production.
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Physical fit and able to work extended hour when required
