What is the job about?

  • Directly leading and managing the implementation of sales strategies and initiatives in order to meet the company targets regarding growth and profitability.

Your main responsibilities :

  • Develop plans to maintain an efficient, productive and harmonious work environment.

  • Select, lead, guide, evaluate and develop a high performing team of employees to ensure that the sales team achieves the business objectives.

  • Select the right people and keep them trained and motivated to add value for the Grundfos customers.

  • Lead sales team to execute the Grundfos strategy and build a strong Grundfos marketing position and brand.

  • Make proposals for the sales objective and cost budget.

  • Develop and execute business action plan to achieve sales target.

  • Develop and maintain an effective business relationship with customers, authorities, contractors and design institutes etc.

  • Get feedbacks from customers regarding the product services and report back, if it lives up to the company/Group standards.

  • Have regular performance coaching meetings with team members to ensure that we have the desired behavior in developing customers & sales.

  • Drive Facetime (activities with customers) and Pipeline Management (ensuring opportunities for future sales) within their teams, including follow-up on activities and opportunities in the global CRM tool.

  • Ensure that the customer categorization and prioritization reflect the sales strategy of the company.

  • Conduct bi-weekly or monthly project growth and win meetings.

  • Work focus: Deliver results through employees and enable team productivity and individual productivity. Build effective and successful team(s). Create collaboration across relevant functional areas.

  • Time application: Annual planning for team and performance management.

  • Work value: Value managerial work and develop continuously managerial skills.

Your background

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering, preferably MBA Degree.

  • 5 to 10 years of progressive sales leadership in a multi-location, international company culminating in the leadership of a sales and account management organization.

  • 3 to 5 years aftermarket experience of commercial building business.

  • Superior track record of success ideally in an organization with a complex operating environment that includes multi-segment, multi-channel, multi-category sales and distribution.

  • Energetic and entrepreneurial leader-provides the business with drive and direction to achieve performance targets.

  • A proven record of building high performing regional sales teams with a focus on shifting to performance driven cultures and to market growth driven activities.

  • A track record of creative problem-solving in the execution of strategic planning, process and channel. rationalization, and culture change.

  • Experience managing support functions and coordinating business unit activities outside of sales. Work collaboratively to drive rapid growth and achieve goals.

  • A proven track record of growing sales in North China and building strategic, long-term customer relationships.

  • Ability to break down complex problems into a simplified way, conduct root cause analysis and provide clear, well thought-out recommendations.

  • Ability to manage up, down and across the wider organization and to build/maintain high level relationships.

  • Ability to communicate in an open and authentic manner in all situations.

  • Fluent speaking and writing skills in English and Mandarin.
