What is the job about?

We at Grundfos Canada are looking for a Service Coordinator to join our team.

As a Service Coordinator, you will schedule workshop and on-site (pump) repair requests from customers. Ensure scheduling procedures are followed including effective communications across teams to ensure materials are ordered and the required technicians are planned. You will apply good professional knowledge and build trust with customers, employees, partners, and contractors. You will provide the necessary support in the coordination and planning of service operations and site visits.

You will report to the Head of Service & Solutions, Canada, and work on a hybrid schedule out of our Oakville, ON office.

Your main responsibilities :

  • Email intake and telephone assistance for dealers/ wholesales in determining the right items and with installers for putting GRUNDFOS products into operation and helping to solve faults and forward the necessary documentation.

  • Creation of work orders for service technicians and authorized service partners, processing in SAP.

  • Work closely with Manager to track and coordinate jobs with technicians.

  • Determine the correct parts with Sales and Technicians.

  • Responsible for identifying/ assessing an incoming request from a customer for service purposes.

  • Assisting/ providing input for Service quotations for repairs, projects to be carried out.

  • Report matters related to 5S and Kaizens.

  • Cultivate excellent customer service and be willing to go above and beyond to ensure a customer’s success.

  • Use problem-solving skills to resolve customer inquiries.

Your background :

We imagine that you have:

  • Completed secondary school, a degree, diploma, or a certificate would be an advantage.

  • At least 5 years of work experience and at least 2 years in a similar position.

  • Experience following protocols and process flows to ensure high quality service response.

  • Proficiency in English communication. Bilingual in French, not necessary but an asset.

  • The ability to communicate information in a simple and understandable manner.

  • Experience in Microsoft Office and SAP (S/4 HANA is highly preferred).

  • End to End process understanding and supporting continuous improvement.

  • The capability of organizing own workload.

  • Participated in complex projects within own area.

  • Experience driving less complex projects within own area.

  • The ability to deal with complex situations and multiple processes at the same time.

  • The ability to make connections (inside and outside), independent, works well in a fast-paced environment, initiative-oriented, results-oriented.

  • Good time management, and organization skills.

  • The ability to be data-driven and proficient in data analysis.

  • A team-oriented attitude and collaborative.

  • Experience in dynamic, fast-paced, high-growth company.
