Peerless Pump Company, an Indianapolis based subsidiary of Grundfos , is seeking an experienced Records Librarian - Part Time to join its Customer Service group.

What is the job about?

The Records Librarian - Part Time is a key conduit of information between the customer and CSCs and is responsible for locating, pulling, and scanning serialized records into our software programs - improving efficiency in selling operations. Position reports to the WIN Customer Service Supervisor, and will take functional direction from the site Records Librarian.

Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must have authorization to work in the USA without support.

Your main responsibilities:

  • 100% Support excellent level of service for all serialnumber@ email box correspondences.

  • Secondary point of contact for lawyer and business partner requests.

  • Expectation 1: Support daily tasks and cover for vacation or non-office days for

  • Primary Library contact.

  • Expectation 2: Complete all lawyer requests within agreed upon timeframe.

  • Projects: Maintaining and streamlining the organization of the paper and film files.

  • Expectation 3: Daily scheduled time on projects.

  • Schedule regular time in the files organizing and maintaining paper files

  • Schedule regular time in the files scanning and uploading microfilm/microfiche.

  • Project time fills in any gaps after correspondences are finished.

  • Training: with Parts team and other Support as needed.

  • Sorting Parts Email boxes / Routing Phone calls

  • Tasks assigned along with further training.

Competencies

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with attention to detail and demonstrated ability

  • to use proper grammar and spelling.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Excellent critical reasoning skills.

  • Strong technical aptitude.

  • Experience using ERP Systems (SAP preferred).

  • Proficiency with standard MS Office programs.

  • Highly organized, self-starter that can work with little direct supervision.

  • Ability to make sound decisions when needed.

Key Success Factors

Key measures include but not limited to;

  • Support excellent level of service for all email, phone and other correspondences.

  • Point of contact for lawyer and business partner requests for information.

  • Training with Parts team and other Support as needed.

  • Projects as needed.

  • Maintaining and streamlining the organization of the paper and film files.

Posting, Reporting, and Work Relations

Records Librarian – Part Time will report to the WIN Customer Service Supervisor. The role will regularly interact with our Business Partners externally and with Records Librarian, Application

Engineers, Sales, and Parts team internally, among others.

Your background

We imagine that you have:

  • High School Diploma, GED, HSE/HiSET or equivalent *required

  • Post Secondary degree (Associates or Bachelors) in Communications, Business, Organizational Leadership orsimilar technical discipline (or commensurate experience) *preferred

  • 1-3 Years of customer service experience in an office environment

  • 1-3 Years of administrative experience in an office environment

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment *preferred
